2012
The Spark of an Idea
  • In October, an insight planted the seed that would become ZA Consulting.
  • December: A consulting company was incorporated with four founding shareholders.
2013
The Early Steps
  • First project initiated: Market Health Checkup & Competency Assessment.
  • Building the team to 5 first clients onboarded.
2014
Building Capability
  • Won strategic projects: Tara, GSK, Chings, Bhagwati.
  • A subject matter expert to the core consulting team.
2015
Pivoting for Purpose
  • A strategic reassessment triggered a major pivot. Sandeep Zutshi exits the company.
  • In May, Zutshi Associates (ZA) was formed.
  • First major long-term engagement with Amagi India ( 21-months).
  • Added new clients: NR Group, Nobel Hygiene, GITS.
2018
Lean and Profitable
  • Onboarded high-growth FMCG clients: Moreish Foods, Cee Pee Masala, and Keeros Foods.
  • Operated with a lean 4-member team under a high-margin, low-overhead model.
2019
The Second Leap
  • ZA Consulting formally took shape as a rebranded strategic entity.
  • First major breakthrough: Johnson & Johnson, followed by Britannia.
  • Continued investment in talent and expertise.
2020
Resilience Amidst a Pandemic
  • Pivoted swiftly during COVID-19 to launch new branding, website, and digital channels.
  • First COVID-era project: Glanbia, followed by SIL Foods.
  • Expanded the consulting team with 2 additional experts.
2021
Regional Expansion
  • Launched ZA Consulting ME LLC in the Middle East.
  • Established strong footing in international consulting markets.

Strengthening the Core
  • Onboarded two senior professionals to drive growth.
  • Expanded focus across FMCG and Healthcare verticals with deeper engagement.
